This is the logo of Bay Area Church of Christ. It tells a story that reminds us why we love the Lord and his people. The graphic is a picture of upward motion that represents a confident hope. The colors symbolize our journey from darkness to light in Christ. ("INTO THE LIGHT") They also suggest the power and authority of God and the energy produced by our unified fellowship with each other. We are a Church of Christ, which means he is the focus of everything we do.  Our heritage and strength are that we diligently study and follow the word of God above any other authority.
 

For you were once darkness,

Our logo looks very different from most church logos. Looking different can help people remember we are different.  The colors and shapes are meaningful:

--  Orange and yellow suggest energy, optimism, light, truth.
--  The combination of colors and elements moving left to right stands for changed lives moving from darkness to light. The design incorporates movement and change. Walking with Jesus involves change--being molded by him through life and its journey of faith.
--  The curvilinear lines are symbolic of beauty, inspiration, and God's Spirit.
--  The typeface is distinctive, open and full of character. This stands for the message of the gospel.
