A Harding University graduate and a native Pennsylvanian, Derek has spent most of his adult life teaching kids of all ages. He has lived and worked in South Korea, China, and the UAE. He was teaching English, coaching HS tennis, and giving tennis lessons in Texas before moving to Florida to join the Bay Area church of Christ team. He loves seeing kids enjoy learning while building relationships together. He hopes to instill in the youth a deep love for Christ based in the knowledge and truth of the gospel.
